First things first, let's get you familiar with the program and what you will be learning in our course outline. This is mainly focused on sanitization and tools.
Now that you have learned the fundamentals of sanitization and the different types of tools. We can now move on to the floor and start your practice on mannequins with life-like hair. This helps you prepare for week 3.
This is when the real haircutting comes into play. But not to worry, your instructors will be with you every step of the way.
In this section of the course you will learn the different types of shaving techniques and services such as, hot shaves, cold shaves, towel shaves and more.
In the last week you will be showcasing all the skills that you have learned and apply them to your hands-on final exam. Upon finishing this course you will be rewarded with your ABA certification of completion.
Congratulations, you have now successfully developed the skills to handle any haircut, style or shave that comes your way! The ABA is pleased to offer assistance with interview preparation for local barbershops, where you can showcase your skills and begin your career.
